Customer privacy notice

What the portal stores

The customer portal may store your name, email address, password verification data, quotation history, job and painter assignments, payment status and amounts, requested booking dates, verified painter reviews, colour-reference photos you upload with a quotation, signed work agreements, tenant/landlord approval documents where supplied, signed order forms, electronic signature images and related signature hashes.

Why it is used

This information is used to provide quotations, document authority and agreed scope, create signed order records, manage customer accounts and bookings, process payment status, arrange painters, maintain service history, and publish verified review aggregates.

Security

Passwords are stored as salted password hashes rather than readable passwords. Session cookies are HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite. Quotation photos are intended to remain in private object storage. This version does not collect payment-card details.

Retention

Retention periods should be finalised before production based on accounting, contractual, dispute-handling and privacy requirements. Customers should be provided with a route to request access, correction or deletion where applicable.

Security check

Quotation submission uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent automated abuse. Cloudflare processes verification signals under its own privacy terms. The server validates the security token before saving a quotation.

Online payments

Online payments are currently unavailable. This version does not create a card checkout or collect card details. A payment provider may be enabled later and this notice will be updated before payments are offered.
